Long Service Award for Malcolm Prince, Orion Trent, Burton Branch
Malcolm Prince is part of the history and evolution of Orion Trent. From the very foundations of Trent Insulations in to 1980’s and 1990’s; through acquisition by Orion Insulations to form Orion Trent in the late 1990’s, and more recently through the acquisition of Orion Trent by SIG plc in 2004. Malcolm possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience of our industry and has proven his commitment and ability in dealing with the challenges set to him time and time again.
Malcolm first arrived with Trent Insulations on the 1st of November 1981. His position as driver took on a whole new function as he became a familiar face to the customer base. He provided the customer with a customer service and liaison contact as he completed his daily deliveries. Malcolm was certainly instrumental in helping Trent Insulations achieve growth and reputation for reliable service and positive attitude.
The commitment and endeavour shown by Malcolm through the early Trent Insulations days has become his defining characteristic through the independent Orion Trent format and into to where we are proud to be today, Orion Trent, an SIG Insulation company.
Malcolm has illustrated a fantastic effort and commitment to the company that he has dedicated his lifes work to. Congratulations are well deserved for an outstanding contribution to the branch over almost 27 years.
Congratulations from all your colleagues.

A surprise presentation for Malcolm Prince was organised on the 1st September 2008 at the Orion Trent, Burton Branch.
(Picture of Malcolm receiving the long service award from Richard Walker, Operations Director, SIG Insulation) The award presented by Richard is quite apt as Richard also started his journey with Trent Insulations during the 1980’s.
