Hush Panels comprise of tongue and grooved P5 moisture resistant chipboard panels 2400 x 600 x 18 with a 10mm thick factory bonded acoustic felt base. FFL is 26mm over an existing floor base or 36mm over joists. Fitting Hush Panels are laid in a convenient broken bond pattern. All t&g joints are glued using Hush Bond adhesive and the floor floats clear of the walls using Hush Seal 2- pressed into the 10-15mm expansion gap. When Hush Panels are laid directly over joists a 10mm Hush joist strip is stapled to the top of the joists beforehand.
